Donation only for Goit Stock Wood Community Purchase

Use this form to make a donation that can only be used by us towards the Goit Stock Wood community purchase.

This is known as a restricted donation as we are restricted in how we can use the money. Please note that we can't accept restricted donations under £60.

If you make a restricted donation and we can't buy Goit Stock Wood, we'll contact you to offer you a refund of your donation. If you would like a refund, you'll need to give us your bank details so we can pay the money back to you.

We can only accept restricted donations of £60 or more. This is because we are a run by a small team of volunteers and we won't have the capacity to contact lots of donors of smaller amounts in order to offer refunds.

If you make a donation by credit/debit card, we will incur processing fees which we can't get back. So if we can't buy the wood and you ask for a refund of a donation made by card we'll deduct 2.5% from the amount we refund to you to cover this cost. If you want to avoid this happening, please make your payment by bank transfer instead.

If you want to make an unrestricted donation instead, including donations under £60, click here.

I am a UK taxpayer and I am donating my own money as an individual. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

Read more about Gift Aid

Gift Aid is only available for donations from individuals; it must be your own money you are donating. If you are donating on behalf of a business/organisation use this page instead. If you are donating money you have collected from other people you can use this page but please do not tick the Gift Aid box.

HMRC require us to collect your full name and home address (not a business, "care of" or PO Box address) including postcode to claim Gift Aid.

Please notify us in future if you:

  • want to cancel this declaration
  • change your name or home address
  • no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
